This course provides a structured pathway through the Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) methodology, one of the most evidence-based approaches to service improvement in health and care. From the initial taster through to facilitated co-design events, participants build the skills to partner authentically with patients, families, and staff to redesign care services together. Delivered as a progressive series of modules, this course supports both new practitioners and those looking to deepen an existing EBCD practice.

By completing this course, you will be equipped to design, facilitate, and lead an Experience-Based Co-Design project from inception to implementation, embedding genuine partnership with patients and staff into the way your service learns, improves, and changes.

 Modules include:
  • Introduction to Co-Design and Co-Production
  • EBCD: Setting Up Your Project
  • EBCD: Discovery, Gathering Experiences
  • EBCD: Analysis, Finding What Matters
  • EBCD: Co-Design, Creating Change Together
