This article explores patient experiences of chronic wound care within the NHS, highlighting key challenges around access to services, communication, and treatment adherence. Notably, patients consistently valued personalised support and continuity of care, which contributed to a more positive overall experience.

The findings also suggest a preference for clearer, more engaging written information to support understanding and involvement in care. Overall, the study emphasises the importance of developing more patient centred wound care services that better respond to individual needs and improve the quality of care delivery.
